Full-color, edge-to-edge, permanent prints that never crack, peel, or fade—here's how it works.
Dye sublimation is a digital printing process that uses heat to transfer ink onto polyester fabric. Unlike traditional printing methods that lay ink on top of material, sublimation ink is converted from a solid to a gas under high heat and pressure. The gaseous ink penetrates the polyester fibers and bonds at a molecular level, becoming part of the fabric itself.
The result is a permanent, full-color print that won't crack, peel, fade, or wash out—no matter how many times you wear or wash it. Because the ink becomes part of the fabric, you can't feel the print at all. The garment stays soft, breathable, and comfortable.
Your artwork is prepared digitally at full resolution using professional design software. Every color, gradient, and detail is mapped for edge-to-edge coverage.
The design is printed onto special sublimation transfer paper using high-quality sublimation inks in CMYK color space.
The transfer paper is placed on the polyester garment and pressed at 400°F (204°C) under high pressure for 45–60 seconds. The heat converts the solid ink into gas.
The gaseous ink penetrates and bonds with the polyester fibers at a molecular level. Once cooled, the print is permanent—it is the fabric, not on the fabric.
Sublimation printing delivers advantages that no other printing method can match.
Unlimited colors with photographic quality. Print complex gradients, photographs, and intricate designs with no extra cost per color.
Won't crack, peel, fade, or wash out. The ink bonds with the fabric at a molecular level, making the print as durable as the garment itself.
Prints cover the entire garment from seam to seam. No limitations on print area—your design wraps around every panel of the garment.
Water-based sublimation inks produce zero liquid waste. No screens, plates, or setup waste—making it one of the most sustainable printing methods available.
